Stari Bar
The fortified Stari Bar is located in the hinterland of the modern city, under Rumija. The ramparts and remains of different eras make it a separate tour, not part of the coastal promenade.
Aqueduct of Old Bar
The stone aqueduct on the northern side of Stari Bar bears witness to the former water supply of the fortified town. View the structure from a safe public viewpoint.
Old olive tree in Mirovica
The old olive tree is one of the recognizable symbols of the Bar region. It is located on Mirovica, separated from the coastal center and the old town ramparts.
King Nikola's Castle in Bar
King Nikola's Castle is located by the sea in Bar, near Topolica, and today houses the Local History Museum. It is a different location from the King Nikola Museum in Cetinje.
Clock tower in Stari Bar
The clock tower is one of the recognisable buildings within historic Stari Bar. Together with the surrounding ruins, it helps you understand the town's former daily life.
Old Bar Hamam
The restored hammam represents the Ottoman layer of Stari Bar's history. Include it in a tour of the heritage sites rather than looking for it in the new town.
