The long beach and promenade make a family day easier, but the most important things are easy access from your accommodation, a section of waterfront suitable for the child that day and the option of a quick break.

Pushchair access

Before booking, ask about steps, the slope and the crossing to the sea. Accommodation that is close in a straight line may involve a strenuous return walk, so ask for a route description or a short video of the access.

On the beach

Check sea conditions, shade, toilets and whether you can return quickly to your accommodation. Children must be supervised continuously; a beach description is not a safety assessment for a particular day.

Activities

For Aqua Park and water activities, check minimum age, height, health restrictions, equipment and adult accompaniment rules before buying.

The long sandy waterfront stretches from Zavala towards Rafailovići and is divided into several public and hotel bathing areas. Before choosing a section of beach, check access, the rules of that particular bathing area and the water conditions that day.

Hotel Mediteran Aqua Park

Hotel Mediteran’s Aqua Park is a seasonal complex with pools and slides in Bečići. The official website states that it operates during July and August, but access, prices and daily opening hours should be confirmed for the date of your visit.

Where to stay in Bečići

When choosing accommodation, check which side of the main road you are on, how you actually get down to the sea and how demanding the uphill return is. Distance on a map does not describe steps, slopes or passages.
