Buljarica without a car

A car-free stay is easier to plan when you know in advance the route to the beach, to the shop and to confirmed transport. The published town line to Petrovac is no proof of a regular connection to your property in Buljarica.

Your everyday loop

Ask your host for the actual walking route to the shore and to shops. Check the climb, the lighting and whether you need to cross the main road. Do not assume that every shortest route on the map is suitable for walking.

Petrovac and longer excursions

Arrange a local transfer for days when you leave the village. For a bus, ask about the specific stop and departure date; for a taxi, confirm the total price and the return.

Lučice on foot

The link between the two shores mentioned in tourist descriptions does not prove the path is currently passable for all guests. For a walking excursion, get fresh local confirmation; with a pushchair, at night or in bad weather, choose confirmed transport.

Getting to Buljarica

Buljarica lies south of Petrovac, on the road towards Bar. When arranging your arrival, ask for your accommodation's pin and a description of the last turn: properties by the beach, in the hinterland and on the hillside do not share the same access.

Lučice is a bay near Petrovac, separate from Buljarica beach. This entry is a suggestion for an excursion in the surrounding area, for a day when you want a different beach setting.

Excursion from Buljarica to Petrovac

Petrovac can be a shorter excursion that links the promenade, Kastio and Lazaret with a visit to Crvena komuna. Plan the transfer there and back to Buljarica separately from the visit itself.
