Petrovac without a car
Choose where you stay
Compare the route to Petrovac Beach and to Lučice, not just the number of metres in the property description. A climb, stairs and crossing a road can affect your day more than straight-line distance.
Excursion towards Budva
TO Budva lists the route via Reževići, Sveti Stefan, Pržno, Kamenovo and Rafailovići. Before setting off, also work out your return, especially outside the season; the contact for the local line is Mediteran Express.
Do not mix up the bus and the activity
An activity bearing Petrovac's name may start somewhere else. EDDY lists a meeting point in Budva for its Petrovac Islands route, so you need to plan extra travel to the departure point.

Where to stay in Petrovac: choose the actual access route
In Petrovac, choose where to stay based on how you want to spend your days: the town waterfront, frequent trips to Lučice or a base for excursions. Compare the actual route to the beach, the climb, parking and the ease of daily shopping.
Getting to Petrovac
When planning your arrival in Petrovac, treat the intercity journey separately from the final approach to your accommodation. TO Budva lists a local Budva–Petrovac centre line via the Budva Riviera; this is not the same ticket, nor necessarily the same stop, as for an intercity bus.
EDDY: Budva–Petrovac sea kayaking
EDDY offers the Petrovac Islands sea kayaking route between Budva and Petrovac. The route described is about 18 km and takes roughly six hours. The published meeting point is on Slovenska Beach in Budva, so this is not a short kayak rental from Petrovac beach.
