Tabija Fortress on Golo Brdo
Golo Brdo, Sutomore
Sutomore's other fortress
Golo Brdo and Tabija are a separate historic site beside the Sutomore coast. When exploring local heritage, distinguish this destination from Haj-Nehaj Fortress inland.
Before exploring
Ask the tourist information office about current access, site conditions and any restrictions. Research documentation does not confirm safe access to all the remains; do not climb the walls and follow signs on site. Opening hours and admission charges have not been confirmed.

Haj-Nehaj Fortress
Haj-Nehaj preserves the remains of a medieval fortification on a hill above the Sutomore area. The Bar Tourism Organisation dates its first written mention to 1542 and links it to Venetian defences. Plan your visit as a separate trip inland.
Church of Saint Thecla (Sveta Tekla)
The Church of Saint Thecla stands west of Sutomore. The official tourism description dates it to the 14th century and highlights two altars, Orthodox and Catholic, as part of this religious site's history.
Ratac Monastery Ruins
The remains of the Benedictine monastery of Our Lady of Ratac stand on Cape Ratac, between Sutomore and Bar. The Bar Tourism Organisation links the site to the 11th century and describes a former complex of churches, buildings, walls and towers.
