Slovenska obala, Budva
- Beach surface
- pebbles with patches of sand
- Amenities
- promenade, sports courts, places to eat and drink
Who the location suits
If you want to combine swimming with a meal and a walk, the urban waterfront reduces the need for transport. Choose a specific stretch of beach according to where you are staying, rather than relying only on the shared name Slovenska Beach.
Choosing a spot on the beach
The waterfront is long, and conditions vary along its length. Before unpacking, check the beach surface and entry into the water, the available shade and the nearest access to the promenade. Especially when visiting with children, choose according to the conditions you find, rather than just a photograph.
Useful tip
In July and August, arrive earlier for a quieter start to the day; the town beach is busiest then.

Where to stay in Budva: choose your accommodation location
Choose the starting point for your holiday, not just a pretty view in a photograph. The waterfront, the Old Town and town streets away from the promenade offer different daily rhythms.
Budva without a car
A car-free holiday starts with choosing an address: look at the actual walking route to the waterfront and the places you will visit frequently. For longer journeys, combine walking with local transport.
