The Old Town and its immediate surroundings
This location makes sense if walks through the historic centre, cultural sites and the waterfront are the main focus of your holiday. Before booking, ask about access with suitcases, steps to the entrance and which way the room faces. Being close to evening entertainment does not mean that a room is quiet; check its specific location with your host.
Along the Slovenska waterfront
If you want to move between the beach, promenade and places to eat during the day, check the walking route from your accommodation to the waterfront. Slovenska Beach is long, so check which part is actually closest to you and how to get there.
The urban area farther from the waterfront
Do not rule out accommodation away from the seafront, but check your whole daily route. Ask about uphill stretches, crossings of busy streets, shops and how to return in the evening. If quiet or pushchair access is essential for you, check the specific entrance and room location with your host.
Four questions before sending an enquiry
How do we walk to the beach? Are there steps, and what is the uphill walk like? Where do we leave the car, and is the space reserved? Where exactly is the entrance to the property? The answers are more useful than a simple “close to the centre” label.

Budva Old Town
The Old Town is the most concentrated part of Budva for walking, history and an evening out. Ramparts, squares, churches, museums and small streets make it a good starting point, whether you are visiting for the first time or have only a few hours.
Slovenska Beach
Slovenska Beach is Budva's main town waterfront and stretches between the town harbour and Hotel Park. The promenade, sports courts and wide range of amenities make it practical when you want everything within easy reach.
Parking in Budva
For parking in Budva, first distinguish a marked on-street space from a car park with a barrier. In the centre, you can check Zetafilm and Eksponat; for a parking garage, look at TQ Plaza. These are starting options, not a promise of a free space.
Budva without a car
A car-free holiday starts with choosing an address: look at the actual walking route to the waterfront and the places you will visit frequently. For longer journeys, combine walking with local transport.
